Joey Riot is one of the most respected and versatile artists in the Harder Styles scene. A pioneer of UK Hardcore, he first rose to prominence through his award-winning label Lethal Theory, releasing hundreds of tracks and helping shape the sound of a generation. His success in the UK established him as one of the scene’s leading figures, but his ambitions soon expanded beyond its borders.

Always passionate about the harder end of dance music, Joey successfully transitioned into the European Hardcore scene with his Destructive Tendencies project. The move saw him master a completely new sound and rapidly become a fixture on some of the world’s biggest festival stages, including Creamfields, Defqon.1, Qontinent, Knockout Outdoor, Dropzone and many more.

Never content to stand still, Joey has continually evolved throughout his career. Drawing on decades of production knowledge and international touring experience, he has developed a distinctive sound that effortlessly spans multiple Hard Dance genres. His music has been released on leading labels including Dirty Workz, Masters Of Hardcore, Electric Fox, Bonkers and Basscon, while Lethal Theory remains one of the most influential independent labels in the scene.

With more than 15 years of international touring across Europe, North America, Australia and Asia, Joey has built a reputation for delivering high-energy performances tailored perfectly to every audience. Whether performing Hardcore, Hardstyle, UK Hardcore or beyond, his ability to connect with crowds and command a dancefloor has made him a favourite with promoters and fans worldwide.
